Goals

Danielle Kousoulis was working on the 104th floor of the North Tower at the World Trade Center on September 11th, 2001, and lost her life that day when terrorists flew jet airliners into the buildings.  The Danielle Kousoulis Memorial Scholarship Fund was formed to continue Danielle’s spirit of caring and generosity. Each year the scholarship fund awards academic scholarships to a Haddon Township (NJ) High School graduate (Danielle’s alma mater), and to a member of Danielle’s church, St. Thomas Greek Orthodox Church (Cherry Hill, NJ). In 2025, the scholarship fund also began awarding a scholarship through the Hellenic University Club of Philadelphia, whose mission it is to foster a vibrant community for Greek-American professionals through education and social initiatives, encouraging academic excellence by providing scholarships to students of Hellenic descent.
